Reverend Dr. Gerald M. Dew
Reverend Dr. Gerald M. Dew was born on December 18 in Chicago, Illinois. Shortly after his birth the Dew family relocated to Muncie, Indiana where Reverend Dew completed his primary and secondary education. Reverend Dew began his undergraduate studies at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and completed his undergraduate work at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. He went on to earn a Master of Arts Degree in Theology from the Houston Graduate School of Theology. He then entered the Postgraduate Program at the University of St. Thomas where he studied the Philosophy of Religion. Reverend Dew is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Trinity Theological Seminary and has been bestowed with an Honorary Doctoral Degree from the Midwest Theological Institute of Chicago, Illinois.
Reverend Dew is the loving husband of the lovely Mrs. Marva Dew and the proud father of two children; Samuel and Eboni.
Reverend Dr. Gerald M. Dew, Pastor, Teacher, and Visionary, is a strong believer in the purpose and power of God's people. He began preaching the Gospel at the early age of 19. At the age of 24, he acknowledged the call to serve as Pastor of the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. He served faithfully for 16 years and is now the great shepherd of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago, Illinois; a church that has for several decades been a tremendous source of spiritual and economic empowerment in the Englewood and neighboring communities through affordable housing and outreach ministries.
Reverend Dew answered the call as Pastor of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago, IL in January 2001. A joyous Installation Service was held in March 2001. The Lord has done great and mighty things through Reverend Dew over the past seven years. Some of the highlights include:
