Our First Lady

Rev Dew

Mrs. Marva Dew
I am Redeemed.  I've been bought with a price. Jesus has changed my whole life. If anybody asks you just who I am tell them I am Redeemed.

Sister Marva Dew is a born again Christian.  She is the proud and loving wife and covenant partner of the dynamic Pastor Gerald M. Dew. Domestic at heart, she cherishes her role as wife to a multifaceted and gifted man of God and is stepmother to two beloved children:  Samuel and Eboni.  She is the gracious First Lady of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago.  Believing in the power of sisterhood and forever working to bridge the gap between the ages, Sister Dew is a member of both the Jr. Women Ministry and the Senior Citizen Ministry of Antioch.

In addition she serves as:

  • Vice-president and Ministry Teacher for the Illinois Missionary Baptist State Convention Ministers’ Wives and Widows Ministry.
  • Secretary for the Ministers’ Wives and Widows Ministry of the National Baptist Sunday School Congress
  • Corresponding Secretary and Workshop Teacher for the Ministers’ Wives and Widows Ministry of the National Missionary Baptist Convention Of America

A gifted and anointed woman of God, Sister Dew is blessed with the unique ability to connect to women from all walks of life.  She uses her God-given spiritual gifts of exhortation, teaching, and wisdom to bless women through personal mentoring, local church workshops, seminars, retreats, and conventions.   A woman of few words and a quiet spirit, she believes that (1) love is an action word and (2) the power of Christianity is demonstrated best through the walk and not the talk.  Her desire is to see Christian women exemplify the Titus 2 woman (Titus 2:3-5) by pouring the good things of God into the lives of one another.

Sister Dew is passionate about the bond, strength, and power of united Christian sisterhood. She is Founder and Executive Director of Sisters For Sisters (www.sistersforsisters.net), a national women’s ministry celebrating its 9th year on Saturday, Augutst 14.  Through this conference Sister Dew has inspired and encouraged hundreds of women to embrace spiritual change and live more fulfilling lives with and through Christ.  Her vision for the conference is to ensure that, “Every sister will be a sister and every sister will have a sister, so that no sister will stand alone.”  Her life verse and philosophy is Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpeneth iron, so one man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."  For more information about Sisters For Sisters or to register for the 9th Annual Bonding Conference visit www.sistersforsisters.net.
